Thinking back to how she had spoken kindly to her that night, only to be ignored, Kathy was very upset with Briana Cameron.
Kiley's eyes twinkled, she lowered her head and said, "Alright, I'll listen to you, Auntie!"
After watching Kiley and Denise leave, Kathy finally turned and walked towards the living room.
However, just as he reached the door, he was stopped by the servant.
"Madam, the master said that you don't need to entertain the guests anymore, you can just go back and rest!"
Upon hearing this, Kathy's face instantly turned incredibly ugly, she gritted her teeth and said, "Are you sure?!"
The servant looked at her indifferently, "Madam, if you don't believe it, you can ask the master yourself after the banquet."
After speaking, the servant turned around and walked directly into the living room, without giving her another glance.
Kathy's hand, hanging by her side, tightened unconsciously, her eyes filled with anger and resentment.
She swore, she would definitely make senior Mr. Bynes regret!
On the other side, after Kiley left, Briana Cameron also planned to leave. Had she known she would encounter Kiley and Aurora tonight, she would not have attended this banquet.
She spotted Maxim in the crowd. The moment her gaze landed on him, it seemed as if Maxim sensed it and turned to look at her.
Their gazes met across the room. Briana Cameron pursed her lips, picked up her skirt, and walked towards him.
Just as she had walked a few steps away from him, a figure suddenly blocked her path.
Upon seeing Aurora, Briana Cameron's face turned cold.
"Mr. Yoder, several partners of the Fredrick Group wanted to have a chat with you. They also had the intention to collaborate with the Yoder Group."
Aurora spoke loudly, making sure Briana Cameron could hear her. She didn't believe that if it was about work, Briana Cameron could stop Maxim.
Maxim was indifferent, saying coldly, "Ms. Fredrick, the Yoder Group doesn't need your mediation. If those partners are interested in cooperating with the Yoder Group, I will arrange another time and place to discuss with them in detail."
Aurora almost couldn't keep the smile on her face, surprised that Maxim would reject her so bluntly.
She gritted her teeth, "Maxim, is this how you treat me when I kindly introduce clients to you?!"
Maxim's expression was icy, his tone incredibly distant, "Ms. Fredrick, I didn't ask you to do this, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't meddle in my affairs in the future."
Having said that, Maxim didn't bother about her expression anymore and directly walked past her to Briana Cameron.
"Briana, were you tired? Should we go back first?"
Long before Aurora mentioned that several partners wanted to cooperate with the Yoder Group, Briana Cameron had glanced in the direction she pointed out. Seeing that those people were all fairly well-known businessmen in the Haseton business community, Briana Cameron thought that Maxim could go and get to know them.
A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as she spoke, "No, I just came over to talk to you."
At this point, she leaned closer to Maxim and whispered, "Getting to know those businessmen would be beneficial to the Yoder Group, you should go and meet them."
Although Aurora purposefully approached Maxim, which annoyed her, Briana Cameron still decided to prioritize the development of the Yoder Group.
As her words fell, her wrist was suddenly seized.
In the next second, Maxim had pulled her into his arms!
