Seeing it was Isaac, he answered with a cold expression.
"I had already brought the key, when did you release grandma?"
Isaac chuckled, "Don't rush, leave the key at the door. Once I've confirmed the authenticity of the key, I'll naturally let her go."
"No, I won't give you the key until I see my grandmother!"
Isaac sneered as he spoke, "Maxim, do you think you still have a choice? Leave the key at the door and get lost, or watch your grandmother die in front of you. You choose."
After a few seconds of silence, Maxim slowly said, "Isaac, this key is important to you, isn't it?"
"So what?"
"If I'm not mistaken, you collected this key for the people behind you. If the key is damaged, can you still hold your position as the president of Kingly Group?"
"You dare!"
Maxim's voice was devoid of any warmth, "Let me see my grandmother, a fair exchange, or even if I have to destroy the key, I won't give it to you!"
On the other end of the phone, Isaac's breathing suddenly became much heavier. After about ten seconds, his voice, gritting his teeth, finally sounded.
"Alright, I had someone bring grandma over immediately!"
Maxim didn't say anything else, he just hung up the phone.
Several minutes later, Isaac brought Norma over with two bodyguards.
Seeing Norma's pale face and lips so dry they had cracked, anger flashed in Maxim's eyes. He coldly stared at the leader, Isaac, and said, "Are you even human? Grandma was already in poor health, and you still abused her?!"
Isaac sneered, "I only starved her for a day, and you call that abuse? Then what do you call what you did to me in the basement before?!"
Speaking of the past, Isaac's eyes were filled with hatred. His gaze on Maxim was icy cold, as if he wished he could kill him on the spot!
Maxim said coldly, "You deserved it. Grandma has never done anything to wrong you. You are simply unworthy of being a human!"
"Did she treat me fairly?! She left the Yoder Group to you, and I didn't get a single share. And the Harmony Villa she promised me, I have to wait until she dies to get it. All of these should have been mine alone. Why should she give the Yoder Group to you?!"
Seeing the madness in Isaac's eyes, Maxim didn't want to waste any more words with him. He said coldly, "Let go of grandma!"
"Give me the key first!"
Maxim's expression was icy, "Let go of grandma first."
Isaac sneered, "Are you in a position to negotiate terms with me?"
"I wouldn't be threatened by you."
"If you hadn't given me the key, I might have had my men rough up grandma. Are you sure you wanted to see grandma get hurt?"
"If you dared to harm a single hair on my grandmother's head, I would immediately destroy the secret key."
Maxim's expression was indifferent, but his tone was very serious, making people feel that he was not joking.
Isaac was about to speak when his phone suddenly rang in his pocket.
Seeing it was Daniel, a flash of coldness passed through his eyes.
As soon as the call connected, Daniel's impolite voice came through.
"Mr. Yoder, please do as Maxim said."
Isaac took a deep breath, but still couldn't suppress the anger in his heart.
"I knew what I should do! It wasn't your place to remind me!"
"Mr. Yoder, if there was any loss of the key, Scorpion wouldn't let you off."
Isaac's grip on his phone tightened incessantly, veins throbbing visibly on his forehead, his emotions teetering on the brink of explosion.
He hung up the phone abruptly, coldly saying, "Release them!"
