Briana was silent for a moment, then nodded and said, "Alright, but I still hope you can keep your word."

The two had made up, but they both knew they could never return to the way they were before, without a single crack. They also tacitly agreed not to mention this matter again.

For the following week, Briana was busy refining design drafts with Pamela, always leaving early and returning late.

Briana frowned, "What's this I saw online about you being kept?"
